Kilim Rugs

The collection

Kilim is one of the oldest textile traditions in North Africa, practised across Morocco for centuries as a flat-weave technique that needs no knots and no pile. The pattern is built entirely from the structure of the weave itself, interlocking coloured wefts to form clean geometric lines. Moroccan Kilims are typically woven in natural undyed wool, kept light and reversible, and have traditionally served as floor coverings, room dividers, and travel blankets. They are the quietest pieces in this collection, and often the most enduring.
