Zaafran ("saffron")
Two panels of saffron yellow stacked on a poppy-red axis, framed by chequered lozenges in red and cream. Symmetrical, almost architectural, and woven flat so every edge stays crisp. A small tuft of yellow warp is left at one end where the weaver finished. Compact enough for a hallway, a kitchen or the foot of a bed.
